General description
一种苯甲酰胺醚衍生物，对金黄色葡萄球菌和枯草芽孢杆菌具有有效的杀菌活性（**抑菌浓度 = 0.5至1 μg/mL），但不影响大肠埃希菌，酵母或人肝细胞。显示以剂量依赖的方式降低金黄色葡萄球菌中的GTPase活性，并诱导FtsZ（微管蛋白的原核同源物）聚合。据报道以浓度依赖性方式直接抑制FtsZ的GTPase活性（IC50 = 55 ng/ml）。显示在类似于微管蛋白的紫杉醇结合位点的区域中C末端结构域和螺旋7之间结合。将接受致死剂量金黄色葡萄球菌的小鼠的存活率提高到100%。
