General description
该基因编码雄激素受体共激活因子。编码的蛋白质以配体依赖性方式与雄激素受体相互作用以增强其转录活性。该基因与ret酪氨酸激酶基因（也位于10号染色体上）之间的染色体易位与甲状腺乳头状癌有关。已经描述了选择性剪接的转录物变体。假基因存在于4、5、10和14号染色体上。（由RefSeq提供）
