General description
Numb plays a key role in neurogenesis and in cell fate decisions. It maintains self-renewal properties in neural progenitor cells, which are also called radial glial cells (RGCs). It functions through inhibition of Notch signaling. Additionally, it is suggested to mediate local repair in brain ventricular wall damage.
~70 kDa observed. Uniprot describes four isoforms at ~71 kDa (isoform 1), ~66 kDa (isoform 2), ~69 kDa (isoform 3), and ~65 kDa (isoform 4).

KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to human Numb isoforms 1 and 2.
Application
Detect Numb using this Anti-Numb Antibody, clone 6G10.1 validated for use in WB & IC.
Immunocytochemistry Analysis: A 1:500 dilution from a representative lot detected Numb in HeLa and A431 cells.
