General description
Native lactate dehydrogenase from porcine heart. A tetrameric enzyme that catalyzes the reversible conversion of pyruvate to lactate. The overall equilibrium of this reaction favors lactate formation. Has an optimal pH of 7.0 and a pI of 4.6. Note: 1KU = 1000 units.
Note: 1 KU = 1000 units
Preparation Note
Following reconstitution, refrigerate (4°C). Stock solutions are stable for up to 24 h at 4°C. Do not freeze solutions.
