Cell permeable, low-toxic triazine-triamine ligand of the RNA aptamer AC17-4 that effectively activates gene expression in riboswitches and significantly raises hEPO levels in mice.
ASP7967 is a cell permeable, low-toxic triazine-triamine ligand of the RNA aptamer AC17-4 with a Kd of 12 nM and an EC50 of 2.3 µM. ASP-7967 significantly activates gene expression in aptazyme-based riboswitches, exceeding a tenfold increase in HEK293 cells. Furthermore, when administered orally at 100 mg/kg, ASP 7967 substantially boosts serum human erythropoietin (hEPO) levels in mice, about 7.2 times more than the control, demonstrating its robust in vivo effectiveness.
