Recombinant protein encompassing a sequence within the N-terminus region of human BICD2.
Application
Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: ICC/IF: 1:100-1:1000, IP: 1:100-1:500, WB: 1:500-1:3000. Not yet tested in other applications. Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the end user.
Biochem/physiol Actions
This gene is one of two human homologs of Drosophila bicaudal-D and a member of the Bicoid family. It has been implicated in dynein-mediated, minus end-directed motility along microtubules. It has also been reported to be a phosphorylation target of NIMA related kinase 8. Two alternative splice variants have been described. [provided by RefSeq]
