General description
胱天蛋白酶9抗体通过在兔体内使用N端添加赖氨酸通过戊二醛与钥孔血蓝蛋白 (KLH) 偶联的、人胱天蛋白酶原9氨基酸对应的合成多肽制备而成。胱天蛋白酶9/CASP9（Mch6，ICE-LAP6，APAF3）是胱天蛋白酶2亚家族的一员，与胱天蛋白酶8和10同被归类为启动型胱天蛋白酶。它是一种含半胱氨酸的天冬氨酸特异性蛋白酶，由416个氨基酸组成，其中有13个是半胱氨酸。CASP9位于人染色体1p36.21上。
Immunogen
与人天冬氨酸蛋白酶 9（其中的N-末端添加赖氨酸与 KLH 和戊二醛结合） 的氨基酸残基 299-316相对应的合成肽。

Biochem/physiol Actions
胱天蛋白酶9/CASP9是鼠类中枢神经系统正常发育中细胞凋亡的必需因子，并在肿瘤发生发展的控制中发挥作用。当细胞凋亡中的主要事件为线粒体功能障碍时，它会发挥启动型胱天蛋白酶的作用。当细胞凋亡中的主要事件为线粒体功能障碍时，胱天蛋白酶9会发挥启动型胱天蛋白酶的作用。胱天蛋白酶9还可被颗粒酶B激活。
Physical form
溶于0.01M磷酸盐缓冲盐水，pH 7.4，含有1%牛血清白蛋白以及15 mM叠氮化钠。
