This kit is shipped in two parts with separate storage requirements. These components are not sold individually: • 500 ml StemPro® MSC SFM Basal Medium (store in the dark at 2°C to 8°C) • 75 ml StemPro® MSC SFM Supplement (store in the dark at -5°C to -20°C) The Basal Medium ships at room temperature, while the Supplement ships on dry ice. |

Developed for Human Mesenchymal Stem Cell Culture
StemPro® MSC SFM CTS™ is a serum-free medium (SFM) specially formulated for the growth and expansion of human mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs). StemPro® MSC SFM CTS™ enables superior human MSC growth and increased consistency compared to classical serum-supplemented medium (DMEM + 10% FBS). Using StemPro® MSC SFM CTS™, human MSCs can be expanded beyond 5 passages while still maintaining their tri-lineage mesoderm differentiation potential (i.e., ability to differentiate into osteogenic, chondrogenic and adipogenic lineages). Each lot of StemPro® MSC SFM CTS™ is qualified using a human MSC performance assay and human MSCs growing in serum-supplemented medium can be transitioned directly into StemPro® MSC SFM CTS™ with little or no adaptation required. In addition, StemPro® MSC SFM CTS™ facilitates expansion of MSCs directly from primary human bone marrow.
